DON'T MISS A DATE WITH YOUR MOTHER- A MUST READ

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman
out to dinner and a movie. She said I love you but I know this other
woman loves you and would love to spend sometime with you.

The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my
three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.

That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie.
"What's wrong, are you well," she asked?
"I thought that it would be pleasant to be with you," I responded. "Just
the two of us."
She thought about it for a moment, and then said, "I would like that
very much."

That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous.
When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed to be
nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary.

She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel's.
"I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they
were impressed, "she said, as she got into the car. They can't wait to hear about our meeting".

We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady.
After we sat down, I had to read the menu.

Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there
staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips "It was I who used to
have to read the menu when you were small," she said.
"Then it's time that you relax and let me return the favor," I responded.

During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation - nothing extraordinary, but catching up on recent events of each other's life.
We talked so much that we missed the movie.

As we arrived at her house later, she said, "I'll go out with you again,
but only if you let me invite you." I agreed.

"How was your dinner date?" asked my wife when I got home. "Very
nice, Much more so than I could have imagined," I answered.

A few days later, my mother died.
It happened so suddenly that I did not get to do anything for her.
Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant
receipt from the same place where mother and I had dined.

An attached note said:"I paid this bill in advance. I wasn't sure that I
could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two plates - one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son."

At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: "I
LOVE YOU!" and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve.

Nothing in life is more important than your family.
Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be
put off till "some other time."

Two little boys stole a bag of oranges from their neighbor and decided to go to a calm place and share their "loot". One of them suggested the nearby cemetery.

As they were jumping the big gate to enter the cemetery, two oranges fell out of the bag behind the gate, but they didn't bother to pick them
since they had enough in the bag.

A few minutes later a drunkard, on his way from a local bar passes by near the cemetery gate and heard a voice: "ONE FOR ME,ONE FOR YOU,ONE FOR ME ONE FOR YOU"

He immediately sobers up and runs as fast as he can to the local Priest and gasping for breath he says:"Father... father please come with me..come and witness GOD and satan sharing corpses at the cemetery.

They both ran back to the cemetery gate and the voice continued: "ONE FOR ME ONE FOR YOU,ONE FOR ME ONE FOR YOU..." Suddenly the voice stop counting and says: "WHAT ABOUT THE TWO AT THE GATE?"

They started running...even the Priest almost passed the church gate
shouting....."W e are not dead"

DON'T BE SHY TO EXPRESS LOVE WHEN YOU FEEL IT- A MUST READ!!!

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.

So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores.

He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked "Can I help you?" She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD." He picked one out and gave her money for it.
"Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.
She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

!!!RRRING! !!
The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"
It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know? He passed away yesterday... "

The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother.

Later in the day. the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The motherpicked it up and started to read it.

It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me?Love, Jacelyn

BURNED BISCUITS- A MUST READ...

Must read this story carefully and share it......I hope it will help you to change your mentality towards any kind of relationship.

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then.
I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.

On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed!

Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said:

"Honey, I love burned biscuits. Don't be sorry "

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said,

"Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

Life is full of imperfect things... and imperfect people.
I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God.
Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!

We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."

So, please pass me a biscuit. And, yes, the burnt one will do just fine!
